It’s the holiday season! Come to The pH Comedy Theater and join our reindeer games.
On Friday nights, Dangerprov is back with the new improv special Holiday Hijinks!
The holidays can be hurtful and messy, and Holiday Hijinks is no different. Dangerprov presents Holiday Hijinks, a holiday-themed, short form improv showcase that pushes the limits and dares the audience to go along for the ride! This show is for all the thrill-seekers who want to get their names off the nice list and see something, fresh, inappropriately funny, and a little bit cringe-worthy. Our high octane performers will be challenged with improv games and scenes featuring delightfully dangerous twists like ornamental shock collars, egg nog chugs, and the Dreaded Dreidel of Doom. If you need a break from the same ol’ touching, lame, sickly-sweet holiday shows, then Holiday Hijinks is the improv comedy show for you!
Playing Fridays through January 20th (no shows on 12/23 or 12/30).
You can purchase tickets here.
Directed by Jared Miller
Starring: Jay Berger, Susan Haarman, Garrett Kelly, Matt Kidd, Marc Lindquist, John Mahoney, Randy McDonald, Aaron Moser, Natalie Mueller, Jason Ouimette, Axel Vargas-Irlanda, and Dan Wright
On Saturday nights, Die Another Holiday tells the yuletide story of Ben and Lanny, a super adorable couple who just want a nice Christmas. Their families are meeting for the first time at an 80s-themed ski chalet for what should be a nice holiday getaway. Trouble, however, follows Ben and his family wherever they go … because they’re all secretly secret agents.
Of course, it’s possible that Lanny’s family has some secrets too.
This original two-act action farce is the third and final installment of ensemble member Jamie Jirak’s “Holiday Trilogy,” which included the previous standalone shows Holiday Party and Holiday Special.
Die Another Holiday proves that any family—whether highly trained in deadly arts or not—can’t get through the holidays without a little drama. It’s a holiday spy story with a sit-com feel and a farcical twist.
Playing Saturdays through January 21st (no shows on 12/24 and 12/31). You can purchase tickets here.
