CASE STUDIES: HAMLET 2 - Focus Features and Terry Hines & Associates came to us wanting help promoting Hamlet 2's release in Chicago AND to help them get people in to the advance screening. pH came up with the idea of having our cast run around key locations in Chicago (Milennium Park, Michigan Avenue, etc.) handing out flyers, with one of our cast members on roller blades dressed as Sexy Jesus, a character from the film. In addition we promoted the movie at our theater with posters and giveaways. We did a themed night of shows based on Hamlet 2 and did an improvised musical as the students from the move, and hosted our late night show as again...Sexy Jesus. On the day of the event pH was present at the screening to do a little in-seat entertainment before the move started. All in all our efforts helped the advance screening fill to capacity and helped raise awareness of this hilarious film. Check out this video that shows our publicity stunt: FOUR CHRISTMASES - Once again Terry Hines & Associates asked pH to come up with a promotional stunt idea to help raise awareness of their toy drive for tickets event. The agency was encouraging Chicagoans to donate a toy to the Walter and Connie Peyton Foundation, and in exchange they would receive free tickets to an advance screening of Four Christmases, starring Vince Vaughn and Reese Witherspoon. pH jumped in and helped raise awareness of the event by sending a squad of carolers to the event. The carolers made up Christmas jingles about the event and stood on the corner of Michigan Ave and Chestnut street near the world famous Water Tower and sang their hearts out about the promotion. Even in the dreary cold rainy weather pH managed to help Terry Hines fill a huge box full of toys and raise awareness of Four Christmases.
