WEDNESDAY NIGHTS ARE FOR pH!
pH is pleased to announce that starting July 30, 2008, they will be adding Wednesday nights at 8PM to their repertoire. This new time slot will feature SKETCHseries, a showcase of our immensely creative written work. Headed up by Marty Gangler, SKETCHseries will present sketch in a way that pH never has...revue style and in an open run, with new shows seamlessly transitioning into the slot. Lots of exciting fresh new ideas are being created for this new pH endeavor and we couldn't be more excited. Opening Night for SKETCHseries will be Wednesday July 30, 2008 at 8PM and will feature our first sketch production: 100...Years of Losing, a farce about the Cubs "first 100 years". Shows will continue to be at Stage Left Theare at 3408 N. Sheffield Ave, and will continue to be BYOB. Tickets will be $12 for SKETCHseries.
NEW SHOW: WHEEL OF pHORTUNE!
pH has added a new show to their repertoire: Wheel of pHortune! Wheel is an exciting show that lets the audience ultimately decide what they are going to see that night. Longform shows that pH has created are attached to the wheel, and whatever show the spinner lands on – that's the show that the cast will do. They have no idea what show they are doing until an audience member spins the wheel. pH is creating new shows for the wheel all the time, so you never know what you are going to see, but we know it will always be different, and fun! pHRENZY pHORMAL
Its Spring, so that means its time for a good old fashioned Prom! Come join us on Saturday, May 17 for our second annual pHrenzy pHormal show! We'll pit the girls against each other and the boys against each other to determine the ultimate pH King and Queen, and you get to help decide by voting each round! Tickets are $15, but only $10 if you wear an awesome dress or suit/tux. Also stick around afterwards for an awesome dance party! This is your chance to re-live Prom people, bring some drinks, spike the punch and let loose!
CHICAGO IMPROV FESTIVAL
pH has been invited back to the Chicago Improv Festival again this year! We will be performing in the CIF Preview show coming up April 25th. The Preview show highlights Chicago's best talent and is a teaser of what's to come for the official festival this June. pH plays pHamily the Musical on Friday, April 25th at 10PM at Donny's Skybox at Second City. Stay tuned for when we will be performing in June at the actual festival.
OUT OF BOUNDS LA FESTIVAL
Summer is almost here, which means festival season is upon us. pH kicks off their festival touring schedule with their first ever visit to the Other Coast. pH will take on LA with their hit show pHrenzy, and then tear it up in an amazing mini golf tournament.
